Waverly graduated from the University of North Texas Honors College Magna Cum Laude at age 19 with a B.A in Philosophy and Criminal Justice and a Legal Studies Certificate. In May 2023, she will graduate with her Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M School of Law.
While in law school, Waverly interned at various criminal defense positions throughout Tarrant County, in addition to interning with the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association. She was a member of the criminal justice society and Women in Law Student Association, where she served as a board member. Additionally, during her second year, Waverly held three teaching assistant positions at Texas A&M School of Law.
Waverly has a long history of public service, receiving philanthropic awards in undergrad for her community service and completing over 400 hours of pro bono work in law school. Her time sitting on trials ranging from murder to DWI and participating in federal criminal defense has given her a vast array of experience to bring to any client situation, ready to aid however is needed.
